Everything your physician may order, at a single address.
Every study explained in plain language: what it is for, how long it takes and how to prepare. If you are unsure, call us — we will tell you exactly what you need.
Seven studies. Pick yours.
MRI
Magnetic resonance imaging of brain, spine, joints and abdomen.
02CT Scan
High-resolution slices for chest, abdomen, sinuses and trauma.
033D Mammography
Digital tomosynthesis for screening and diagnostic studies.
04Ultrasound
Abdominal, thyroid, pelvic, obstetric, breast and Doppler.
05Digital X-Ray
Chest, spine and extremities — walk-ins welcome.
06EKG & Cardiac
Electrocardiogram, echocardiogram and vascular Doppler.
07Bone Density (DEXA)
Bone density measurement for osteoporosis and fracture risk.
MRI
MRI uses a magnetic field and radio waves — not radiation — to produce highly detailed images of soft tissue. It is the study of choice for spine, knee, shoulder, brain and many abdominal problems.
Used for
Disc herniation, ligament tears, tumors, multiple sclerosis, persistent joint pain.
Duration
Between 20 and 45 minutes depending on the region studied.
Preparation
No metal: jewelry, dentures, clothing with snaps. Tell us if you have a pacemaker, implants or claustrophobia.
With contrast
Some studies require IV contrast; if so we will ask for a 4-hour fast.

CT Scan
CT combines multiple X-ray views into cross-sectional slices. It is fast, precise and especially useful when time matters: trauma, acute abdominal pain, kidney stones or lung evaluation.
Used for
Chest and lung, abdomen and pelvis, sinuses, kidney stones, oncology follow-up.
Duration
10 to 20 minutes; the scan itself takes seconds.
Preparation
4-hour fast if your study uses contrast. Bring prior imaging if you have it.
Safety
We use reduced-dose protocols, adjusted to each patient's age and body habitus.
3D Mammography (tomosynthesis)
Tomosynthesis takes several images at different angles and reconstructs the breast in thin slices. It finds smaller lesions, particularly in dense tissue, and reduces callbacks for uncertain results.
Screening
Recommended annually from age 40, or earlier based on family history.
Diagnostic
When there is a finding, a palpable lump or follow-up of a prior study.
Preparation
No deodorant, powder or lotion on the day of the exam. Bring prior mammograms.
Duration
About 20 minutes, with a female technologist.

Ultrasound
Real-time images made with sound waves — no radiation, no pain. It is the ideal study during pregnancy and for evaluating organs, glands and blood flow.
- Abdominal, liver and gallbladder
- Thyroid and soft tissue
- Pelvic and obstetric
- Breast and testicular
- Venous and arterial Doppler
- Kidney and bladder
Preparation: for abdominal studies, fast 6 to 8 hours. For pelvic studies, drink 32 oz of water one hour before and do not empty your bladder.
Digital X-Ray
X-ray remains the first step in many diagnoses: fast, affordable and available without an appointment. Our digital equipment produces images instantly at the lowest necessary dose.
Walk-in
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, with your physician's order.
Duration
5 to 15 minutes in total.
Used for
Fractures, pneumonia, arthritis, pre-operative and spine evaluation.
Preparation
None. Remove jewelry and metal objects from the area being imaged.

EKG & Cardiac studies
Non-invasive studies that evaluate rhythm, heart structure and blood flow — the foundation for detecting arrhythmia, murmurs, heart failure and vascular disease.
EKG
Resting electrocardiogram, in under 10 minutes.
Echocardiogram
Ultrasound of the heart to see valves, walls and function.
Vascular Doppler
Carotid, arterial and venous studies of the extremities.
Specialist report
Interpreted, signed and delivered to your treating physician.
Bone Density (DEXA)
A very low-dose scan that measures mineral density in hip and spine. It is the standard way to diagnose osteoporosis before a first fracture and to measure whether treatment is working.
Recommended for
Women from age 65, men from 70, or earlier with risk factors.
Duration
10 to 20 minutes, lying down and fully clothed.
